Policies & Information

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to common questions about enrollment, certifications, refunds, and recertification. Don't see your question? Reach out directly.

  • What is your refund policy?

All tuition, course fees, and certification payments are non-refundable. Once enrollment is confirmed or course materials are issued, no refunds will be granted under any circumstance. Students are encouraged to confirm their schedule and eligibility before registering.

  • How does recertification work?

Recertification students must complete the required continuing education hours and pass any applicable practical or written assessments. Identity verification is required for every recertification session — students must present a valid government-issued photo ID at sign-in. We will verify the original certification holder's identity before issuing any updated credential.

  • Do I get a certificate after the course?

Yes. Upon successful completion of the course requirements (attendance, skills assessment, and any written exam), you will receive your certification credential. AHA-issued cards (BLS / CPR & First Aid) are issued through the American Heart Association's eCard system.

  • How long are certifications valid?

Validity varies by credential. American Heart Association BLS and CPR & First Aid certifications are valid for two (2) years from the date of issue. HIPAA and OSHA training is typically required annually. Please consult your employer for their specific recertification cadence.

  • Can I reschedule my course?

Reschedule requests must be made in writing to admin@propathcareerinstitute.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Reschedules are subject to availability and may not be guaranteed.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

Yes. Groups of 5 or more learners qualify for up to 20% off per certification. Larger cohorts and multi-site engagements receive custom enterprise pricing. Visit our Group Training page or contact us directly for a quote.

  • Where are courses held?

Courses are held at our institute located at 739 High Street, Portsmouth, VA 23704. Group training can be delivered on-site at your facility upon request.
